Our Territory

In the surrounding maquis, they wind many marked paths that you can cover on foot or mountain bike to reach various destinations, such as the ruins of the Monte di Muro Monastery, which overlooks the Holiday farm. The Monastery is reachable going up a lane for about 3,5 km.

Near the ruins, encircled by an age-old vegetation, there is an equipped parking area.

On the other hand, you can reach the different sandy bays such as Cala Martina or Cala Violina through the paths winding in the maquis that practically arrives to the sea. These paths offer you striking views on the gulf of Follonica, on the Elba island, on the coastal areas of Piombino and Punta Ala.


We suggest you to visit also the neighbouring countries : Scarlino, medieval villane with the Fortress that commando over all the gulf; Massa Marittima with one of the most beautiful squares of Italy; the various archaeological sites with Etruscan excavations (Volterra, Vetulonia, Roselle); places of naturalistic interest (Uccellina Park, Montioni Park, European Centre of Carapax Turtles).
